Our Programs and Our Educators
Bargo Child Care Centre is a small early learning service which provides care and education for 2 - 5 year olds with an exceeding requirements accreditation as set out by ACECQA (Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority).
Our committed educators work hard to provide a rich and nurturing environment. We recognise that the first 5 years are critical in a child's life. setting the groundwork for future growth. Children at our centre learn through hands-on experiences, based on their interests. All of our educators have completed, or are completing professional qualifications in Early Childhood Education and are always striving to increase their knowledge and provide the best for your children.
Being a small centre means we can tailor our services to each child's individual needs and strengths, allowing for versatility that helps children reach their potential. We offer a range of learning opportunities that aid in the development of life long skills to organise and make sense of the world around them. We include open-ended and deliberate play-based learning experiences as well as activities that help children to develop communication and language skills, as well as social and emotional growth.
Our education is based on the Early Years Learning Framework which gives children a good sense of self-awareness, the ability to feel connected and contribute to their environment to become self-assured and good communicators.
We offer a program to prepare preschoolers for Kindergarten and to support them in this transition process. This includes a Pre-Literacy program, the use of Early Learning Languages Australia, Early Learning STEM Australia (Science, Technology Engineering, Mathematics) and keeping informed of the NSW School Curriculum.
Both our indoor and outdoor areas provide inviting spaces for children to explore and practice their developing skills. We offer a natural outdoor environment which is safe for children to explore, be involved in sustainable practices and get dirty if they choose to do so. This includes caring for animals, gardens and the play environment.
Most of all, we value families and welcome all families to be involved and provide input in many aspects of our service. There are opportunities for families to give feedback on our programs, policies and procedures, environment and the general care we provide.
